Delighted we were to have Dr. Francis Collins, director of the Human Genome Project, current director of the NIH, and author of several books to join us at our Malibu show on the Pepperdine campus. “Wisdom of the Skeptic” was recorded in conjunction with the Christian Scholars Conference in June.

Here Collins discusses faith and evolution, and the way in which he believes those seeking to defend Christian faith actually do more harm than good; plus a story about a foray on a medical mission trip to Africa, in which he found our western conceit and its great trust in mere human ingenuity humbled. We were very pleased to have had the opportunity to interview Mr. Hal Holbrook at our show in Malibu in June. We were especially pleased to have him, given that his health had been poor, and we did not know until 6:30 p.m. (with show starting at 7:30) that he would in fact be with us.
