In our second program, we draw upon the Biblical event of Jubilee, exploring ideas of economy and community in American folk. Our outstanding musical lineup includes Buddy Greene, Julie Lee, BIll Miller, and the Wolaver String Quartet, not to forgot our Sinai Mountain Boys directed by Jeff Taylor, featuring Aubrey Haynie, Byron House, Pete Huttlinger, and Chris Brown. The vocal stylings of Uncle Dave's 4, featuring special guest Hope Miller, and the Tokens Radio Players round out our lineup. Our interviews include American folk musician and founder of the New Lost City Ramblers Mike Seeger, Melissa Fay Greene on her book There is No Me Without You, and Rod Dreher on his book Crunchy Cons.

In our first program, we explore recurring eschatological themes in “The Appalachian Longing for Home.” Musical guests include Buddy Greene, Andrew Peterson, and Odessa Settles, with our house band, the Sinai Mountain Boys, directed by Jeff Taylor on keyboards, penny whistles, accordion and vocals, plus Pete Huttlinger on banjo and guitar, Aubrey Haynie on fiddle and mandolin, Dennis Crouch on acoustic bass, and Vince Barranco on drums and vocals. Plus Aunt Mag's 4 and the Tokens Radio Players. Authors interviewed include A.J. Jacobs on his book The Year of Living Biblically, Marcus Rediker on Slave Ship: A Human History, and Brian McLaren on his latest book, Everything Must Change: Jesus, Global Crises, and a Revolution of Hope.
