They star in the reality TV show, The Johnnyswim Show, about their family and career during the COVID-19 pandemic, and have a cooking show called In The Kitchen With Abner and Amanda.
Amanda's mother was the legendary Disco Queen Donna Summer and her father is the acclaimed producer Bruce Sudano. Meanwhile, Abner's family experienced the intense political turmoil of 20th century Cuba, emigrating to the United States in the Mariel Boat Lift in 1980.
